Models, which I have studied or used, have a few common features that programmers feel uncomfortable with.
- A tightly integrated model using a number a predefined files which are limited in their own way to fulfill particular requirements; and it requires significant time for further customization.
- Existence of a long learning curve; and needs to learn certain "only-applicable-to-this" trick.
In the formulation of this new MVC pattern for developing a PHP application, I have tried to be more flexible in incorporating a more flexible approach, a generic approach towards application development, and simple and easy-to-understand set of rules and guidelines.
Please treat the whole effort here as an approach to construct a web application on a LAMP platform. This approach can be further extended with valuable suggestions and inputs from the programmers using this model to carry out their coding and PHP in general. My intention down the line is to come up with a easy-to-use tool to create a application on LAMP platform using ash.MVC.
